Composed of puffy waves of merino wool crimped along a core of thinner merino wool yarn, Teddy knits up into a soft and light fabric that beautifully shows off your hand-dyeing skills. Teddy bulky has a more regular texture that doesn't vary in thickness along the length of the yarn, while Teddy DK has a slight thick and thin variation that brings a little more texture to the finished knit. 100% non-superwash merino wool yarn in DK weight (24 mic)

Description: Made from 100% non-superwash merino (24 micron), Woolly Merino DK is a soft, lofty and lightweight yarn with a lovely bloom when knitted up. This eco-friendly yarn is woollen spun which means the fibres are not combed during production. Unlike worsted spun yarns, the strands of our Woolly Merino Sport lie in different directions. This creates lots of air pockets that trap warmth and so the yarn produces insulating garments that don’t weigh you down. Soft to begin with, the yarn softens even more after washing.
Customer Review: "Woolly Merino DK is a perfect Winter yarn. If you love that Nordic style, sturdy wool for hats, mittens and sweaters, this is your base of choice! It’s fun to dye and takes speckles well too!"

Known for its balanced combination of softness, structure, and resilience, Corriedale wool is a favourite among knitters who value both comfort and longevity in their finished pieces.
Corriedale Worsted has excellent stitch definition and a gentle bloom that responds well to a wide range of dyeing methods—from semi-solids to layered tonal work. Its non-superwash finish gives it a more natural handfeel and helps the wool retain its inherent character, making it especially well-suited for rustic-style knits, colourwork, and heirloom-quality garments.
Corriedale Worsted has a slightly toothy texture that still feels pleasant against the skin, and is ideal for projects that benefit from structure—such as sweaters, hats, and accessories—while still showcasing rich colour results.

Description: Corriedale / Gotland DK is a naturally grey yarn spun in the UK. The yarn is soft, lofty with a natural crimp, wonderful lustre, and subtle halo. Corriedale / Gotland DK blends 80% white Corriedale wool with 20% light grey Gotland wool.
Gotland wool is naturally grey which, when combined with the higher proportion of Corriedale wool, produces a light grey yarn that dyes up into beautifully rich heathered colours with a gorgeous sheen. The Gotland is an old long-haired breed of sheep originating from the island of Gotland in Sweden. The sheep has long, lustrous locks and the spun yarn is light and warm with a wonderful drape and subtle halo.
Corriedale wool also has a long staple, with a beautiful crimp that makes it naturally springy. Much loved for its cosiness, durability and next-to-skin softness, Corriedale is a great all-purpose yarn and one of our most popular wools.
With so many beautiful qualities, Corriedale / Gotland DK is a must-have addition to your collection!
